Okay happy new year to all you guys, I hope everything is going to be great for you this year,
I kinda want to step up my game for 2013 as I've never been as serious as I'd have liked about my work.
So I'm working a lot on my skills at the moment, studying more and bonding more too with the awesome world community of artists.
That's what I love best so don't hesitate to get in touch if in need of advices, fun or just company :p

I started a livestream something like a year ago but it's been abandonned for so long I can't remember. I decided to do much more of those and record my studies and sketches almost everyday.
You can already watch the first video at : [link] that I did just now for a group from dA about speedpainting.

Cheers guys and gals, wish you the best !

Hi guys,

I'm gonna be setting up an online store for prints.
I think I'm gonna go with Zazzle for now, seems that many people had good experiences with them. (If you know the site and have anything to say about it I'd love to hear)

Anyway as I'm gonna be selling those I'd like to know if there are particular pieces you'd like to be printed.
Shoot a comment with your favorites so I can pick only the best artwork.

Thank you guys!
Cheers

Hi guys, I've recently been involved with Xeni Games, an independent company that focuses on creating imaginative and thought provoking products.
The guys at Xeni just launched an Indiegogo campaign to help fund their RPG framework and universe : [link]
Here is some work from me for this awesome project :

Here are a few words from the creator :

"Hello, my name is Christopher Valore I am the Lead Creative Director at Xeni Games.
We've just recently launched our debut products on IndieGoGo at: [link]
Xeni Games is an independent company that focuses on developing intriguing and thought provoking games.
Our debut products are The Iternus System and Aetherium.

The Iternus System is a brand new role-playing framework built to encourage the use of imagination, and help unlock the innate creativity within us all. One of the main goals of The Iternus System is to open up tabletop gaming to players of all experience levels while still providing an intriguing and engaging experience for veteran players.
We've constructed our framework in such a fashion that even those who are completely new to tabletop gaming will be able to ease into the ebb and flow of a campaign without having to be needlessly overwhelmed with too many unfamiliar mechanics. For more details please visit our IndieGoGo Campaign [link] .

Aetherium is a Space Opera themed gaming universe that showcases the wide range of possibilities that The Iternus System provides for an entertaining gaming session.
The initial content released with Aetherium will cover the basic details of the universe, such as the galaxies, detailed data on the over fifteen species that live within those galaxies, and will include several scenarios to start your own campaigns with.

Our dream is to continue releasing unique content for the Aetherium universe after we have this first edition produced and released to the public. You can expect to see campaigns focused around specific species in Aetherium, specific planets or cities within Aetherium, and much more.

We will be shipping out our perks internationally, so don't hesitate to claim a perk even if you don't live in North America. We are also very willing to take suggestions if none of the perks available catch your interest.

For more information stop by our Indiegogo Campaign [link] and have a look at what we have to offer. Be sure to check out the excerpts from Aetherium as well as our gallery to see videos we've produced and previews of upcoming content.

Thanks in advance.

I also made a walkthrough of my latest piece :

Sorry for the lack of informations, I didn't feel like I had the energy to comment it at that time..

I started Asimov's series : Foundation not so long ago. Heard about it for such a long time but didn't get it for some reason..
I love it :) Discovering SF classics means a lot.

At the moment I'm leaving a little Science Fiction in my art and trying to improve my landscaping :p
I watched Dylan Cole's techniques in a Gnomon Workshop's DVD and learned soo much !

If you don't know about Gnomon go check all their DVDs : [link]
They have a pretty nice collection there and so much knowledge from great artists. Maybe quite expensive but really interesting.
Go check Dylan Cole on dA : [link] and on his website : [link]

At the moment I'm going for 19th century paintings, trying to reproduce some great art, don't know where it'll go or for how long but I'm quite motivated, I'll keep you updated :)

Okay here comes my first Feature, started on the deviation thumbshare forum under the title : Sci-fi*Space-art*Fantasy

Many Artists shared with me their artworks around those subjects, most of them unknown, some of them with lots of kPV

Anyway, with no particular order, here are the artworks that I found interesting, even sometimes dreamish :)

Giving a try to CSS

Journal Entry: Fri Mar 20, 2009, 3:32 AM

Okay, seems I've finally been able to understand how's css working thanks to Icyworlds.net .

I was involved in man-made structures like cities or starships in order to practice for some weeks. That's because I've ever been reading/watching SF Books and Films, and I got so much ideas that flows in my mind about giant, impressive technical structures. (but not a drop of talent to put them on my PSD layers...)

Recently, browsing the enormous community here on DA, I discovered a lot of artists that made me dream and I decided to go back to my old love that is Space Art .

So all the talk to introduce some of the talented people who make me eager to keep on working my skills :)

:iconap123:

AP123's Salmarnir inspired my last piece, a supernova literally eating a whole planet system :

Please take a look at his gallery, his artworks really are impressive

But let's go back in time, Gary Tonge was the first person who really impressed me on DA, a few months ago . He's a professionnal illustrator for years from UK . His works inspired me from the beginning, I'll share some of my faves :
:iconantifan-real:

One day that I was walking in a book store, looking for things about Photoshop I came across a book named illustration SF (Bold Vision in english) after turning pages, I just understood that it was Gary's book, with some of his best paintings and techniques explained for common. That was quite a surprise :)

You can see his own website here : www.visionafar.com

:icondavid-holland:
concept-on-mac helped me very much, first he provided me a few very useful brushes, and citicized some of my pieces like
Old suburb :thumb113411718:  or Tully with the most concrete words, he even took time to demonstrate on my own pic, Thank you Dude :)
He also made great tuts you should look at

Dragons !

And because he just submitted this :
